Paintball Game Types
Here's the only five game types allowed in tournaments
Read over these carefully so you'll have an idea when we play them
The five games
Capture the Flag
Game Rules
Objective: Defend your base while also trying to take other base’s flag. To win your team must bring it back without being shot.
Specifications: Teams must be equal in number or ability level. Must start game at the place where the flag is located on their team. If shot while holding flag, the flag must be dropped where the player got hit. Before game, both teams may look at where the starting position of the flag is. No time limit. If your team takes the flag from the other base and brings it back to your own, you are victorious.
Stand Your Ground
Game Rules
Objective: To eliminate all players on the opposing side. The time limit is fifteen minutes.
Specifications: The teams should have a small difference in number or experience but to give the lesser team choice of sides. There is to be a spot marked out where no one can cross and act as a border between the two sides. If time is up before all of one team is out, count the survivors on each team and make the better team victorious
Fort vs. Bunker
Game Rules
Objective: Get the center flag and return it to your base. Ten minutes is the time limit.
Specifications: Teams should be equal in ability and people should start off by the starting point on their base. Gradually, try to take the flag placed in between the two bases. One shot hit makes the person out.
Assignation
Game Rules
Objective: To hit the opposing teams’ designated leader. No time limit at all.
Specifications: Before the game starts, each team must designate a leader and notify the other team. Then start off at the base and play till one of the leaders is shot.
50 Round Speedball
Objective: Eliminate all players from other team. 20 minute time limit or till paint runs out.
Specifications: Two teams of three are allowed only 50 paintball in their hopper and may not use any pods, so play conservative and don’t waste paint. If all paint or time runs out, the team with the most remaining people wins.
